Sept. 21 – Monmouth County Park System Wind and Sea Festival, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Bayshore Waterfront Park, Port Monmouth, Middletown. From boating to kite flying and so much more, discover all the fun the wind and sea have to offer. Admission and parking are free.

Sept. 29 – Harvest Home Festival, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Historic Longstreet Farm, Holmdel. An old-fashioned fair reminiscent of the 1890s. Visitors can enjoy wagon rides, games and live entertainment. There will be ongoing crafts demonstrations. Admission and parking are free.
